Article of Impeachment (2nd) delivered --to Senate Floor.


I just love it when the folks in black walk across that Hall.

There have only been 4 impeachments in US history, and of those 2 are--guess who?


Three United States presidents have been impeached, although none were convicted: Andrew Johnson in 1868, Bill Clinton in 1998, and Donald Trump in 2019 and 2021. Trump is the only president (and only federal officeholder) to be impeached twice. 1 Democrat and 2 Republicans have been impeached in the US. Richard Nixon resigned as a result of the Watergate Scandal in 1974, after the House Judiciary Committee passed articles of impeachment.

"I lost my son in 2020.  I am not going to lose my Republic in 2021.  It is not going to happen."

In other news, Champ and Major Biden, German Shepherds, have joined the President and the First Lady in the WH.

They can be heard barking outside during the President's press conference.
